more Kirk and Emily
We are continuing to enjoy time with Kirk and Emily. They drove down to C.L. yesterday and we've just been hanging out today. It's a blessing to enjoy time with your siblings this much. It has been especially gratifying to see my boys bond with their aunt and uncle. Living so far away limits these every day types of interactions. It is so nice to have family visit and take part in our everyday life (hint hint).
Luke has been begging for Kirk's attention all day. He wanted Kirk to hold him at the zoo, help him get into the car, and hold his hand as he walked.
They have opened up the petting part of the zoo. For 75 cents you can buy this little ice cream cone filled up with goat feed. It takes the goats about one second to devour the whole thing. The older kids were rationing their food out but Luke let this one eat it all in one gulp.
Noah loves Kirk and Emily because they wear hooded sweatshirts all the time and there is nothing this boy loves more than chewing on drawstrings (picking up crumbs off the floor is a close second).
