Lukey Bear plays tee ball

Luke had his first tee ball game tonight. My cheeks still hurt from smiling so much. It was adorable!

His team, the Phillies, consists of all his little preschool friends. Their affection for one another was evident by the near constant hugging while they waited in line for their turn to bat.

The set up is perfect for four year olds. An inning consists of every child on the team getting a chance to bat. There are no outs and no one keeps score. So cute.

Luke was excited all day long. He did, however, tell me at dinner that he was a little nervous. The nerves went away when he saw all the familiar faces and got into the game a little bit.

I love the thought of the kids hugging each other in line. That is so adorable. I love the video of the boys too. Noah + ice cream = dairy beard.

Ditto Ashley's comment about the line-hugging. Why can't sports always stay so congenial? Yay for Lukey the T-baller!
