Halloween with cousins

Blogging will be sporadic while here in Utah. Mostly because it's hard to take a break from making sure that Noah doesn't destroy my mother's house while my back is turned. But, he is still asleep and Luke is enjoying the novelty of cable while I sort through lots of Halloween pictures to try and bring you the best.

We went to Emily's house in Layton for Halloween. The kids were thrilled to see each other and kept hugging all night. Emily and I decided on a zoo theme for the kids and boy, it was perfect for these little animal lovers.

Emily painted all the faces. Luke told me on the way to Emily's house that he didn't want to get his face painted but soon changed his mind when he saw Jakob and Eliza doing it (Luke will do anything Jakob does).

We tried to take as many pictures outside as we could before it got dark.

Then we ate clam chowder in bread bowls, armed the children with instructions and candy bags, and headed out into the 'hood for trick-or-treating.

We then came home and looked at our loot. Emily was quick to offer my children candy and did Noah the favor of opening his sucker, which he loved.
Hope your Halloween was as fun filled as ours.
