Because I can't just leave things alone, I brought him inside and looked up how to take care of a monarch butterfly. This morning I went into the kitchen and noticed this:
Adelaide kept saying "Bu-fwy! Bu-fwy!" She loves it. So our beautiful butterfly is airing his wings out in the kitchen. What an amazing little miracle we got to witness. I can't wait to watch him fly away this afternoon.

Luke's preschool hatched butterflies this past year. It's the most wonderful peak into nature you could ask for.
